School of Advanced International Policy

The School of Advanced International Policy (SAIP) is the premier professional development program of the 9L Association, designed to cultivate a select cohort of enlisted international affairs professionals capable of operating at the strategic level. Through a rigorous, ten month curriculum, SAIP integrates the study of public policy, history and strategy, foreign policy, intelligence, and security cooperation to develop advanced analytical, writing, and decision-making skills. The program challenges participants to engage deeply with complex global issues, apply academic frameworks to real-world problems, and produce a capstone work of substantive policy relevance. By combining graduate-level education with the operational experience of enlisted Global Security and Strategy personnel, SAIP prepares its graduates to serve as thought leaders, trusted advisors, and force multipliers in advancing U.S. interests in an increasingly dynamic international environment.
